The new streamer for the shows looks pretty snazzy, but for some reason I can't get any continuous playback for multiple separate tracks. For example, if I want to listen to Dark Star > Drums > Space > Standing on the Moon, I have to get up click on the next track, whereas I didn't need to before. Anyone else having this problem?

I see that I am not alone in this "new embedded player" quandry. Let's hope the folks in charge revert back to the old model, it worked just fine. I have also been able to stream in Itunes, temporarily, but the music sounds a bit compressed there.

Bottom line, why fix something that ain't broke?

I've had the same problem, and when I try to manually advance to the next track it usually moves two.

Ditto. Started Saturday, 1/17, around 10 AM EST for me.
Does not happen streaming with Winamp. Hopefully we will get alerted when the issue is resolved.

Peace, Bob

Yes, and I must say it is rather annoying.

Now, just streaming online, I got it to stream a 5 min. song to the end, but a three min. song stopped in the middle. Perhaps it's still a work in progress. i hope so...because it needs work.

yes, i noticed that yesterday evening, and it is quite annoying; i generally will stream (when i do) using the embedded player; do you happen to know if the continuous play will function if streaming through winamp (or some such media player)? i won't waste my time trying to set that up if the outcome is the same

I stream through iTunes, and it seems to still play continuously from track to track on that. I like the new look of the embedded player, but if it will only play one track at a time...that blows.

thanks, i'll give the stream a go using winamp; my guess is that it's just a minor bump in the road, and that LMA admins are working on a fix even as we grumble

At least it doesn't play the crappy 64kps mp3 any more.

Yes, I asked the same question in netlabels but I am a leper apparently so no one ever responds there. I sat there for 3 hours waiting just to see.

Find the M3U link or one that says streaming like this:

http://www.archive.org/download/helterkeller/helterkeller_vbr.m3u

I would strongly suggest starting there to test it and tell all your friends too. I donate a dollar to my own studio for every 10 downloads...

Oh shit, do I feel like a dummy. I didn't even realize there was a stream option on the left hand side. Doh!

Don't sweat it, I have been using the upload button here for years when I could have been using an ftp client in a 10th of the time it takes to upload. Live and learn!
